Drake won big despite missing the awards
Drake has led the way at this year's MusicMusic Video Awards after taking home two top prizes.
The Worst Behaviour rapper saw his hit single earn him the Hip Hop Video of the Year for the second year in a row at the annual bash, although he didn't attend the outdoor ceremony.
While the star's on/off romance with Rihanna seems to be on the back-burner after she was spotted at dinner with Coldplay singer Chris Martin, Drake was able to celebrate his professional success in Toronto on Sunday night.
As well as the Hip Hop prize, he also won the International Video of the Year by a Canadian for his and Majid Jordan's track Hold On, We're Going Home.
Elsewhere, Lorde - who entertained the crowd with a great medley of Tennis Court and Team - picked up the gong for International Video of the Year in recognition of her hit Royals.

Canadian group Hedley were also big winners, actually besting Drake's record as they made it a hat-trick with a trio of top prizes.
As well as Pop and overall Video of the Year gongs, the band also earned the respect of fans as they were voted winners of the Your Fave Video category.
Meanwhile, on/off former lovers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez triumphed in the Your Fave Artist or Group and Your Fave International Artist or Group categories respectively.
