An interview with Lateefat : I lost my dad when I was 14. My mum could barely take care of my sister and I. When I was 15, she sent me to live with her brother. It was at his place I started my first business. You see, my uncle used to give me N100 every day as pocket money. I decided to save N50 from it. After 2 months I had saved N3, 000. I thought of what to do with the money. I spoke to my uncle about my savings. He advised me to start an airtime business with it. He took me to a dealer who sold me recharge cards worth N2, 500. I started off by selling airtime to my uncle and our neighbours. Then I told my friends and their families about it. I started selling to some people on the street.
